Conventional ConspiracyWell into the widecab era of North American railroading, even the Class 1s sometimes have surprises pop up on their mainlines. In mid-November of 2001, such a case occured on an eastbound Q264 through Warren, Massachusetts.
A lone GP40 led three SD40-2s through town while drawing autoracks toward Framingham.
