Bangor & Aroostook's former Medford cutoff traversed this impressive trestle over the Piscataquis River north of Lagrange. After removal of the tracks, this bridge was redecked for automobile traffic. Much of this line can be driven by car, ATV or snowmobile. I suppose you could ride a horse, too, but sadly no trains.
