Corbin Locomotive and Connecticut Company Box Motor 2022

Built in 1907 by Baldwin-Westinghouse, the locomotive E-2 ran for Corbin. It is a direct electric switching locomotive utilizing submarine batteries to operate. It is currently in storage in the Connecticut Trolley Museum's Northern Car Barn. Behind that is Connecticut Company Box Motor 2022. In front of that is Chicago Elevated Car 4409. The Connecticut Trolley Museum is currently working on a track reconstruction project in the Northern Car Barn which is about halfway completed. Over the years, the track has sunk and when cars were pulled out of the barn earlier this year, it was noticed that cars could not safely pass over the current track.
