This is the loading dock of the former Independent Cable plant in Hudson. The tracks are still there. The oldest section of the building dates back to the 1870's. For most of its history, it was a woolen mill. I worked here in the mid-70's. Trucks had taken most of the business by then, but we still received several carloads of plastic pellets weekly. This was one of the last customers on the line. A friend and former co-worker now operates a very good batting cage in part of the building.
