The MEC 254 rolls through Mechanicville, NY for perhaps the last time on a flatcar on ST Train EDRJ on its way to Motive Power Industries in Boise, Idaho. There, its old EMD engine will be replaced with a new Detroit Diesel 2000 horsepower engine before being shipped to the Pacific Harbor Line in California where it will be designated as an MP20B-3
