Conrail SD80MACs at Pittsfield, MAHere's a scene a lot of us would love to see in 2008:
A pair of brand new Conrail SD80MACs on the Boston & Albany. Photo taken at Pittsfield, Mass., in March 1997. Of course, Conrail is gone, replaced by CSX YN2 AC6000s and YN3 ES44DCs and the like. But we can still relive the good-olde-days, thanks to our color slides of the past. I recently purchased a color slide scanner and will be scanning and uploading some of my old 35mm slides on NERAIL. I have been photographing trains in Western Mass. since
1980. Hope you enjoy! Photo by John Bazan.
