Conrail Flanger at Pittsfield, MA

A Conrail snow flanger, towed by two Conrail B23-7s, is seen idling at the Junction Yard at Pittsfield, Mass., in the Winter of 1994. The massive atomic-like bomb cloud rising in the background is actually steam being released from a local steam generating plant. Color slide by John Bazan.
