First Slurry Train On The Hoosick Branch

VTR 205 (HLCX paint), VTR 310, and VTR 202 (Washington County RR) lead the first loaded train of slurry cars down the recently-restored Hoosick Junction Branch of the Vermont Rail System on Friday, April 25, 2008. The cars were dropped off at Hoosick Junction and will be picked up by Pan Am Railways. The Hoosick Branch runs from North Bennington, Vermont to North Hoosick, NY, and has been out-of-service since the early 1990s. Photo by John Bazan.
