Polka Dot White River Jct

During the heyday of rail passenger service in White River Jct, VT the Polka Dot Restaurant located adjacent to the station was an icon of Vermont railroading. Many trains had long dwell times at the station, and those in know instead of eating at Armstrong Company lunch counter would use the tunnel under the tracks and go to the Polka Dot. You could go in there at 3AM and find the place bustling with activity with "townies" and railroaders.
Today it is only opened from 5AM to 3PM Tuesday thru Sunday.
