Brunswick Maine Street Station Groundbreaking (2 of 3)

Patricia Quinn, Executive Director of the Northern New England Passenger Rail Authority, addressed the crowd as well, announcing some of the superb increases in Downeaster service and ridership. By 2010, the plan is for the Downeaster to terminate two trips daily in Brunswick. Maine Eastern plans to match that schedule so that passengers can ride from Boston to Rockland and possibly Augusta by train.

The passenger train was open for tours during the groundbreaking event.
