On the way back to Meredith, NH the Hobo/Winnipesaukee RR power waits at the Lakeport Draw while it closes for their passage over. Alco S1 959 built 1949 was former Maine Central 959 with S1 #1008, also built same year but designated as Portland Terminal Company Railroad. There are numerous pictures on Nerail of the 1008 working the businesses on Commercial Street in Portland Maine.
