On a typical rainy wet and miserable October afternoon the Battenkill 4116 makes its way south past the old D&H station at Cambridge NY with four empty covered hoppers. It's another six miles to go to leave the cars on the interchange at Eagle Bridge NY. In the background you can see the buildings that are part of the NYS grant rehabilitaion project.
