EAST JUNCTION

A New Haven GP9 with an unusually short Boston to Providence local has swung on to the connector the Boston & Providence built to Boston Switch and a juction with the Providence & Worcester. The straight track is the original mainline from Boston to India Point in RI. East Junction is south of Attleboro, MA. The building on the right is probably SS163 but closed. The old mainline was mainly used for trains to the Narragansett Race Track in Pawtucket -- I posted two photos of these trains.
