PORU 380 passing by a farm in Leeds

PORU passes by some farm land in Leeds, off Route 106 on the Rumford Branch. This area was once even more spectacular. There's a Ron Johnson photo in "Railroads of the Pine Tree State Vol. 1" taken in the fall of 1976 that shows a Maine Central local passes by the spot with a gorgeous view of Androscoggin Lake in the background. A whole lot of trees have grown behind the tracks blocking the view since then, and with all the leaves on the trees now, the lake is essentially invisible from this viewpoint.
