Beginning the run of the second train on its opening day of July 31, 2010, Downeast Scenic's 70-tonner #54 was sounding off for nearby traffic as it crossed Main Street in Ellsworth, ME. Having started behind Cadillac Mountain Sports, what a sound it was to hear the 1948 GE blasting the crossings through town!
