Chugin' Across The Mohawk

The CP Rail inspection train is seen crossing the Mohawk River northbound between Cohoes and Waterford, NY on the Colonie Main on Tuesday afternoon, August 17. The train is making a deadhead move to a point up north to position the observation car - "The Macintyre" for the return trip out of Kenwood yard at Albany the following Wednesday. The D&H 7312 was leading on the southbound run earlier in the day but I missed the train by 10 minutes at Mohawk yard that Tuesday.
