PanAm - BKRR Ice Storm -- Monday March 07, 2011

Just at the interchange of the Battenkill Railroad and Pan Am Southern you can see one of the many trees that have "given up the ghost" due to the heavy icing of the previous night's ice storm. Eastern New York and lower Vermont appeared to receive the brunt of the icing while nearby areas to the north and west were pounded by large amounts of snow -- all of which impacted railroad operations throughout the region.

Photographed by Cully, March 7, 2011.
Added to the photo archive by John (Cully) Cullinan, March 7, 2011.
Railroad: Battenkill.
