Joint BML/MEC Station House at Burnham Jt, ME (c1950)

This station house at Burnham Junction, ME, at MP 33.3 of the BMLRR was operated jointly by the BML and Maine Central. Passengers traveling to and from Belfast and the other Waldo County communities served by the BML changed trains here for MEC trains to Portland, Boston, on to the rest of the North American rail networks. Interchange tracks for freight operations are also visible in the foreground.
