SRS #123 "Dectector Car" at Brooks, ME

Sperry Rail Service "Dectector Car" SRS#123 at Brooks, ME (MP 12) on the B&MLRR. Developed in 1928 by Dr. Elmer A. Sperry, this motorized car was used to inspect rails, using Sperry's "induction method", to find transverse fissures, split heads, and other invisible defects.
