A winter view of Brooks, ME, station and freight house.

Brooks, ME (MP 12), is located a little more than a third of the way up the 33-mile B&MLRR grade from Belfast to Burnham Junction where the line met the main line of the Maine Central. The 1880's vintage station house (which still stands today) and freight house (which is now gone) are seen here on a typical Maine winter day sometime in the 1960s.

Photographed by Unknown (Digital Restoration By Bruce Cooper).
Added to the photo archive by Bruce Cooper, June 26, 2011.
Railroad: Belfast & Moosehead Lake.
