The B&MLRR Main Yard's final "ties" to Belfast, ME

With the demolition of the BML's 1946 engine house on June 21, 2011, the final "ties" to Belfast of the train yard established on the city's waterfront in 1870 was a pile of wooden ties to which the yard's tracks had once been spiked. Seen here on July 14, 2011, by the next afternoon they too were gone. (Nine images of the actual demolition of the engine house, posted on June 21, 2011, are included in the images of the B&ML in this archive.)
