Central Oregon and Pacific slug 4165 was picked up by fellow Rail America railroad New England Central at Palmer, Massachusetts on Tuesday, October 24th after having been interchanged by CSX. 4165 is ex-NS 9710 having been built in 1959 as NW 856, a GP9. It is mated to CORP GP40 4001.
