Among the many relics at the Cedar Hill yard is this plate identifying the "Model 31 Car Retarder". Manufactured in Swissvalle, PA in 1932. Thankfully there are a few things left in the yard with dates such as these. It is my hope these remain in the yard for people who appreciate the history this yard has to offer.
