#2006 was one of 60 such units ordered by Patrick McGinnis, then President of the New Haven Railroad. It is a dual-powered locomotive. It ran diesel outside Grand Central Terminal, but can also take electric from the 3rd rail. Built by EMD in 1955. Today the unit is preserved at the Danbury, CT Railway Museum.
