Downeaster 693 Locked Axle

Just north of West Medford Station #16 Amtrak 693 came to a stop due to locked axle. Bolt gear was cut to free it but still remained partially locked.


MBTA 3247 was the rescue engine that took #16 to Winchester and placed it on the Woburn Loop track. 3247 is approaching on track #1 to couple .
