Closer to the West Portal

Once the subject of postcards, the west portal of the Hoosac Tunnel is a state of disgrace to the dozens of men who lost their lives building this mammoth tunnel. Washed-out walls, tons of mud, trash and grafitti have taken over a once-beautiful site.
