As much to the day's engineer as it was to us, CDAC F40 450's visit to Northern Maine Junction on December 15, 2012 was a big surprise. The last one of its batch remaining, it was about to switch some cars at LMS in Hermon, ME. The power would then latch onto a train #202 and head north for Brownville.
