Some Good....

....and some not! Three big GEs led an eastbound oil extra through PAR's District 1 on January 5, 2013.
The trio of BNSF power was on trackage not normally visited by six-axle units, but recent work before the snow has lifted the old ban on six-packs over the rest of the mainline all the way through Mattawamkeag. At East Newport, Maine, the three GEs chugged nicely toward Palmer Road in late afternoon light. The diesels sounded sweet, but that snow-clogged horn did NOT!
