Downeaster at Mishawum

Amtrak P42DC #41 leads northbound Downeaster #687 through the MBTA Mishawum station in Woburn, Mass. The Portland-bound train is just minutes from its stop at the Anderson Transit Center in Woburn.

Downeaster trains use the double-tracked Lowell Line as far as Wilmington, north of Woburn, where they divert onto the Wildcat Branch to reach the MBTA Haverhill Line, parts of which are still single-tracked.
