KCS On The Boston & Albany

CSX tanker train K640 rumbles through a big rock cut near the summit of the Boston & Albany line in the Berkshires of Western Mass. The eastbound train is powered by the CSX 623 (AC6000CW), KCS 4797, and KCS 4621. This is reportedly the first time a KCS 'Southern Belle' has traversed the B&A. The train was running on track No. 1 this day (Feb. 24th) which allowed me to photograph it from this unique angle. Track No. 2 is on the left which would have yielded basically an overhead roof shot.
