The Benefits of Waiting

Patiently waiting for Pan Am's crew to put away an earlier WANM manifest took nearly four hours on November 30, 2015 while many rail photographers were contemplating their chance to catch GP9 #52 leading a possible NMWA later in the day. Around 2pm, that chance came following a re-crew and chat with District 1. Following their departure from Northern Maine Junction with less than two hours of light to work with, #52 crossed Bog Road in Hermon, Maine with a sense of pride.
