F40PH #1000 has been my favorite locomotive ever since I can remember, so when I visited the BET I couldn't pass up an opportunity to get a pic in the engineer's seat. Hopefully 1000 will be preserved as she was the first new piece of commuter equipment the MBTA ever bought. *Photo taken and posted with permission*
