West Fitchburg, MA

Eastbound loaded Bow coal train coming down "the hill" passing Fitchburg Paper power house with BM 1741, 1742 GP-9's, NYC 2035 GP-40, NYC 2888 U28B, PC 30?? GP-40, BM 4266B F-7. No dynamic brake in use here. That's sand and brake shoe smoke visible back in the train. Engineers would work power to "drag" the train down the hill. The BM GP-9's most likely added at Mechanicville. The 4266 in pool service all the way from West Virginia. Typical coal train engine consist.
