NA-1 / 509 at Ferry Road in BowThe NA-1 Crew made a special delivery on 11/20. They brought this oversized Kalmar RT240 Rough Terrain Container Handler to Concord where it was handed off to New England Southern, who took it north to Canterbury. The big rig was then moved onto a truck, with the eventual destination being Auburn Maine.
The rest of the NA-1 Crew's regular train set of cars were left north of the River Road crossing in Bow, which they ran back light from Concord to get.
MEC 509 had been the road power for the Nashua Crews for around a month. Only 4 out of the 18 Pan Am owned ex-CN wide-nose-cabs remain in the Guilford paint.
One other note of interest, this is the first train over these tracks in a few weeks, as the Pan Am crews performed major track maintenance including new ties under the dirt of the Ferry Road crossing.
