They put this spur in quite a while ago, but it has been little used apparently because it is cheaper to use a transload facility than having a local servicing the spur. Something must have changed to occasion the delivery of these gons. Wonder what the ancestry of this switcher is. It is interesting to note that Fletcher was indirectly responsible for the preservation of two B&M steam locomotives. One is now restored at Lowell NHP and the other is at the Dunkirk Historical Society in NY representing the Brooks Locomotive Works that was once there.
