NS 6971 (SD60E), MEC 7797 (C40-8W) and NS 6950 (SD60E) bring ED-9 into Gardner on Track 2. Train will stop here to clear 2 tracks in the yard before reassembling train and disappearing in the direction of Parkers. I believe it held there for 23K but I could no longer see anything to verify that. Somewhere it had added newer bright blue 20' high-cube trash containers immediately behind the 40' used international containers. If the trash inside the new containers is similar to that in the older 40-footers, they contain the odors much better, though still not perfectly. One stopped next to the spot I was maintaining while waiting for 23K and the odor was noticeable but not overpowering like with the former marine containers.
