Happy 75th Birthday, 2100!

Forgive this unartistic, backlit capture through a chain link fence of Mass Central NW5 2100 in its latest livery, apparently applied in the fall of 2021. The unit has also been named "Patriot Star" by MCRR. Only 13 NW5s were ever built by EMD with 2100 delivered to Southern Railway in January 1947. In 1980 or so, NW5 was acquired by Mass Central where by my count based on a search of this website it has worn five different paint schemes with McGinnis B&M inspired livery being the latest. 2100 has long been out of service but appears to be freshly overhauled although it looks like the headlight is still to be installed. Wikipedia suggests that 2100 is one of 3 surviving NW5 with one on static display in Florida and the other in use at the North Shore Scenic RR in Duluth MN. I look forward to seeing 2100 in operation this year.
