Thank goodness for hiking trails. Here was a unique trio of four axle EMD/GMD power on the pulling end of a mainline freight on Sunday 3/6. These days, one would expect to see a set of mostly GE six axle power sitting here.

Power lineup was:
MEC 507 GP40-2L(w) with ATC/ACSES
MEC 313 GP40
MEC 501 GP40-2L(w)

I'll take this view over a set of GE's in tattered paint any day, though as the expression goes, "Paint doesn't Pull".. ;) This park in Westford is a great place to hike around in, best enjoyed with a four legged pal.
