NA-1 305 Alongside NH 3A in BowFrom late Wednesday afternoon, 3/23, here was the NA-1 Crew taking 305, fifteen loads, and one empty just slightly to the north of here to tie down for the evening. Six loads of telephone poles were very noticeable on this train.
For the vast majority of the time, the Pan Am Crews tend to have their engine facing north, so this presents somewhat of a rare look of photographing this 1967 built ex-New York Central GP40 facing south on "These NH Rails".
When New England Southern Railroad operated on this segment of the Northern Main / Concord Industrial Track, their GP39-2, #2370 faced south.
