Perhaps the 1st sign of Pan Am infrastructure improvement by CSX?

CSX manifest M427 bound for Selkirk basks in the noon sun tied down on Sunday 7/17/22 on the former Pan Am Worcester main at New Bond St in the Greendale section of Worcester. In the foreground there appears to a recently arrived 2 piece prefabbed turnout panel that perhaps is an indication of a siding to be installed here? There is a randomly used 1,200 ft siding nearby that is clearly too short to facilitate meets. Maybe it gets extended? Time will tell! BTW, this edition of M427 will eventually be crewed to advance toward Selkirk passing Springfield MA at 0700 Monday 55 miles and 19 hours after this photo was taken - not exactly a ballast scorching trip velocity! More crews are needed!
