M264 CSXT 923 Passing Through West Springfield Yard

The annual pilgrimage to the gargantuan model railroad show nearby at the Big E in West Springfield would not be complete without a quick stop at CSX's West Springfield Yard to maybe catch a glimpse of something moving around. This year, random chance worked extremely well in my favor.. (In other words, I was darn lucky!!)

As soon as I parked the car, and eyeballed the CSOR engines tied down behind me, I heard horns, then headlights appeared.. This was CSX's M264 lengthy unit train of loaded auto racks bound for East Brookfield.
Two engines pulling:
CSXT 923 ES44AH
CSXT 3323 ET44AH

In addition, a local was moving around at the west end of the yard, and a fuel truck arrived to fill up one of the Connecticut Southern engines that are tied down here.

Then it was off for a great day at the "Really, Really Big Show", just minutes away from West Springfield Yard at the Big E!
