Photo of VTR 308,
VTR 308, "From the Outhouse to the Penthouse"

There are 3 former Guilford Engines in this picture, alive and functional on the Vermont Rail System. Here's my pic of VTR 308, looking mighty fine in the new paint.. Yes, the new paint smell is there too. VTR 308, a GP40-2 built in 1977 was once B&M 303 and had a horrible paint job to prove it.. VTR 303, also a GP40-2 from 1977 was once B&M 314. CLP 203, a GP38 was once MEC 255, and also in the pic is the most recent addition to the VRS Lineup, GP40 VTR 312. All were quiet and shut down on this walk to the Rutland engine house on a nice September day.
