DeWitt geep and visitorPenn Central/Conrail 9973, seen at Cedar Hill Yard in New Haven, was one of the many RS3s re-engined with EMD prime movers by PC's DeWitt shop, hence the nickname "Dewitt geeps". It began life as New Haven 522. The Bangor & Aroostook GP38 behind it was one of the many diesels leased by Conrail from various sources during CR's early years.
