My mother and I stayed in Kent CT this weekend for the Ferrari Challenge races at Lime Rock Park. Our hotel, the Fife & Drum, is right next to the Housatonic main line!! Right after we brought our bags up to our room, I heard a horn, grabbed Ma's car keys, ran down to the car, got my digital camera, then ran towards the tracks. This is the shot I got of a Housatonic freight on its way north. I hope someday to not be caught by suprise and get a much nicer shot by the restored Kent station. I missed that chance this morning when a southbound rumbled by while I was in bed. The whole hotel shook as it went by!
