You Can't Bury History

This road has been paved numerous times since the New Haven Air Line was abandoned in the 1960's. However, car after car wore the pavement away to what you see here: the only rail left on the line from Portland to Willimantic, CT. All else is history. Located on Alden's Crossing just off Rte. 16 near East Hampton.
