Photo of Valley Branch close up
Valley Branch close up

This is a shot of the Valley Branch as it heads south out of Cromwell at Middletown, CT and meets the Berlin Branch (right side), Airline Branch (crosses the bridge left to right) of the old New Haven RR. Currently operated by the P&W.

This shows the house tracks to the right of the Valley mainline where the fuel taank is. The Airline branch runs left to right in front of the tank and crosses the Valley Branch at the diamond.

In the distance id the quadrant switch that connects the Valley Line to the Airline and to New Haven.
