B&M BOSTON ENGINE TERMINALP-2-d 4-6-2 3624's tender is being filled at the roundhouse in East Somerville. The 3624 was built by Schenectady in 1911 and retired in June 1955. There are Pacifics and a Mogul under steam partly outside the house on the left but diesels are poking out of many of the stalls and will fully replace steam in only a little more than a year after I shot this. The wood platforms on the right are for cleaning fires and ashes, washing and some lubricating.
