The Vermont Railway B&R job adds GMTX 2684 (GP38-2), which spent Thursday night pumping up the air on the outbound slurry train by Lake Paran on the former Rutland mainline to Bennington, to its consist as the lead unit for the return home to Rutland from North Bennington after a southbound trip with only VTR 207 (GP38-3). Notice that the crew is eschewing the radio in favor of good old hand signals for the coupling of the 2 locomotives.
