"Adios, NHB-02"

On a quiet Sunday morning, the Empty Coal Train that came in loaded as NHB-02 this past Friday evening, crosses the Merrimack River in Hooksett NH with 90 empties on the trip southward.

Over the years, what used to be a mundane occurrence, has become more of a special catch with this being the second coal train bound for Bow since early December 2015. The Coal plant in Bow is currently for sale by Eversource, and appears to have had very little use over the past six months, although the plant meets all current EPA standards.

Norfolk Southern power includes two SD60E's, #6938 and 6900, and two "Dash-9" widecabs, #9507 and 9128.
