New England Southern on the Move !

The NEGS crew was on the move this past Sunday, here is the 2555 (SW1500) rolling through Tilton on the way to the runaround track, about a mile up the tracks.

Once the runaround is completed, the next steps are to back out the empties on the 3M spur, and bring in the loaded cars. They usually use an empty car as a spacer, as the tracks get right up next to the building.

This picture was taken on the road that leads to the 3M plant, and the these parts of the tracks are very visible from Laconia Road / US Route 3.
